DRC eVisa for Azerbaijani Citizens

What is the DRC eVisa?

The DRC eVisa serves as an online travel authorisation issued prior to departure. The eVisa allows you to apply from home and get pre-approved without visiting an embassy.

Important: The eVisa alone does not guarantee entry. Immigration authorities must issue a Visa d’Entrée (VAP) stamp upon arrival.

Who Can Apply and Why

  • Max. Stay: 7 Days
  • Validity: 90 Days

(You must enter the DRC within 90 days of your eVisa approval)

What Documents Do You Actually Need?

To apply for the DRC eVisa, applicants are required to provide the following documents:

  • Passport bio page: Valid 6+ months beyond your departure date.
  • Recent passport-size photo: Clear and of acceptable quality.
  • Application letter: Addressed to the DRC, explaining: purpose of your trip, travel dates, trip itinerary.

Note :Business/conference letters must be on company letterhead.

How to Apply?

Fill the Online Form

Enter all the required details in the DRC eVisa application form, upload documents and submit the form.

Confirm & Pay

Check everything carefully and pay the visa fee via Card, PayPal, or Crypto. Your application is complete only after payment.

Track & Download

Use your application number to track your status. Once approved, download and print your eVisa, as it is required at check-in and border control.

Processing Time and Fee 

Choose the processing time based on your travel needs:

  • Normal Processing: 11 - 13 Working Days
  • Rush Processing: 8 - 11 Working Days
  • Super Rush Processing: 5 - 8 Working Days

Processing speed may also be influenced by the accuracy of your application, quality of submitted documents, application volume, and routine security checks. Fees vary depending on selected processing speed and purpose of travel.

What is DRC Border Fee (VAP)

  • Your eVisa is just pre-approval, it lets you travel to the DRC.
  • The VAP (Visa d’Entrée) is what officially lets you enter and stay.
  • The VAP fee is separate from the eVisa fee and must be paid on arrival.

What Happens at the Border

At any official airport, seaport, or land border:

  • Immigration officers check your eVisa and passport.
  • You are required to pay the VAP fee
  • Receive a VAP stamp in your passport, which confirms your 7-day stay

To stay longer than 7 days, request an extension in person at EMG/DGM Immigration.

Staying Longer Than 7 Days

If you require additional time in the DRC, you must request a stay extension in person at EMG/DGM Immigration. Extensions are handled only within the country and require a copy of your approved eVisa. Applicable fees depend on the length of the extension requested.
