The DRC eVisa is your online ticket to travel. It is quick and convenient. Whether you are going for tourism, business, family visits, medical care, etc, this eVisa lets you do it hassle-free. This eVisa alone does not finalise entry. When you arrive, immigration will stamp your passport with a Visa d’Entrée (VAP) to confirm your stay.

Use your application number to track your status. Once approved, download and print your eVisa; it's required for boarding and at the border.

Processing Times & Fees

  • Standard Processing: 11 - 13 Working Days
  • Rush Processing: 8 - 11 Working Days
  • Super Rush Processing: 5 - 8 Working Days

The DRC Border Fee (VAP)

The eVisa serves only as a pre-travel authorisation.
The VAP officially grants entry and confirms the authorised stay.
The VAP fee is separate from the eVisa payment and must be paid upon arrival.

What Happens on Arrival:

Upon arrival, immigration authorities will verify your eVisa and supporting documents, collect the VAP border fee, and issue a VAP stamp confirming your 7-day stay.

Staying Longer Than 7 Days

To extend your stay in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, you must request an extension in person at a DGM immigration office before your eVisa expires.

  • Extensions are processed only within the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
  • A copy of your approved eVisa and passport is required
  • Extension fees depend on the length of stay.
