  • Reasons for Visiting: You may use this permit for holidays, visiting relatives, or going to business meetings and professional workshops.

Take Note:1 week is a very short time to explore a nation as vast as the DRC. If you find that you need more time once you are there, you cannot renew this visa online. You will need to visit a Direction Générale de Migration office in a major city, such as Kinshasa, to request an extension.

Paperwork Needed for Guinea Citizens

To ensure the Congolese authorities accept your request, you must upload clear, bright, and high-quality digital files. If your photos are blurry or too dark, your application might be turned down.

  1. Passport Copy: A high-quality colour scan of your passport’s main info page. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you land.
  2. Recent Photo: A digital, passport-style photograph. It must have a plain white background. Ensure you are not wearing a hat or glasses.
  3. Letter of Intent: A short, typed letter explaining why you are visiting the DRC and where you plan to stay (such as a hotel name or a friend’s home address).
  4. Proof of Business: If you are travelling for work, you must include a letter from your employer on company letterhead.
