DRC eVisa for Mauritania Citizens
The DRC eVisa permits travellers from Mauritania to undertake multiple approved travel activities, including tourism, business or conference travel, and family visits.
Under the applicable rules, the eVisa allows a single entry, remains valid for 90 days, and permits a stay of up to 7 days.
DRC eVisa Document List:
- Passport bio-page scan
- A colored scan of the applicant's passport-size photo
- Application Letter: Address the letter to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and clearly state your travel purpose, visit intention, and trip details.
Please note that for business or conference travel, the letter must be issued on the host company’s letterhead.

Can multiple travellers be added to a single DRC eVisa application?
Yes.
Multiple travellers may be added to a single DRC eVisa application using the “Add
Applicant” option. Each traveller is issued a separate eVisa, even when included in
the same application.

What Happens at Immigration Upon Arrival in the DRC?
Immigration places a Visa d’Entrée (VAP) in the passport, confirming a permitted stay of up to 7 days.
What is the Application Submission Process for the DRC eVisa?
The DRC eVisa application can be completed remotely without an embassy visit.
Filling the eVisa Application Form
Correctly fill out the DRC eVisa application form with the following information:
- Personal Details
- Travel Dates
- Passport number
Reviewing and Uploading Documents
- Verify all the details are correct.
- Then, upload all the required documents.
Paying and Submitting
- Pay the processing fee using a debit/credit card or via online bank transfer, then submit the eVisa application form for processing.
- Once the processing is completed, the approved DRC eVisa will be shared via email.
Important Note: A payment confirmation receipt will be sent to the registered email address once the payment is successfully completed.
Other Relevant Details
- The VAP is a border entry fee that confirms permission to stay in the Congo.
- If a longer stay is required, an extension must be requested in person at a DGM immigration office and must be accompanied by a copy of the approved eVisa.
- You must travel with the passport used to apply for the DRC eVisa.
- If the DRC eVisa application form is incomplete, it can be continued later using the Ongoing DRC eVisa Application feature.
