DRC eVisa Guide for the Citizens of Niger
Nigerien travellers heading to the Democratic Republic of the Congo can now handle their entry requirements through a streamlined digital portal. This system removes the need to visit a consulate in person, making the preparation for your journey much more straightforward.
Critical Guidelines for the Airport Visa
Before you begin your application, there are three specific conditions you must understand to ensure your entry goes smoothly:
- Entry Window: Once your application is approved, you have 90 days to arrive in the DRC.
- Length of Visit: This document is intended for short stays of up to 7 days.
- Extending Your Stay: This permit cannot be renewed online. If you intend to remain in the country for more than 7 Days, you are required to report to the Direction Générale de Migration immediately.
Necessary Documentation for Travellers from Niger
To complete your request, ensure you have the following items ready:
- Passport Scan: A clear digital copy of your Nigerien passport's bio-data page. The document must remain valid for at least half a year from your date of entry.
- Identity Image: A recent, professional-style colour photograph taken against a white backdrop.
- Purpose Statement: A brief letter describing your itinerary, including your accommodation details and the reason for your visit.
- Corporate Evidence: If you are travelling for work, you must provide an invitation from a Congolese firm or a letter from your employer.

The total investment for your travel permit includes a digital handling fee and an additional tax collected at the border. You can choose from 3 different processing speeds:
Standard eVisa Processing: 11 - 13 Working Days
Rush eVisa
