What is needed for a DRC eVisa application?

To increase the approval chances for your DRC eVisa application, as a national of Oman, you need to provide the following documents:

  • Passport-bio page
  • Passport-size photo (latest and taken with a white background)
  • Application Letter: The letter should be addressed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and must clearly mention your visit intention, trip details, and travel purpose.
    • Important Note: Business or conference visits require the letter to be written on the host company’s letterhead.

Is it possible to apply for more than one traveller?
Yes. When completing the application form, you can use the Add Applicant option to include more than one traveller in a single submission. All applications are processed together, and updates are sent to the main applicant. Each traveller receives a separate eVisa once approved.

What happens when travellers arrive in the Democratic Republic of the Congo?
Upon arrival, immigration authorities place a Visa d’Entrée (VAP) stamp in the passport.

What travel is allowed under the DRC eVisa?

Omani passport holders can use the DRC eVisa for approved short-term travel purposes, including:

  • Medical reasons

The DRC eVisa allows a single entry into the country. Travellers can stay for up to 7 days, and the eVisa remains valid for 90 days.

How do travellers apply for a DRC eVisa?

Step 1

Fill in the DRC eVisa application form with personal, passport, and travel details. Review the information carefully and upload all required documents.

Step 2

Pay the eVisa processing fee using a valid credit/debit card and submit the eVisa form for processing. The payment confirmation receipt is shared with the applicant after payment.

Step 3

Wait for a few days as your eVisa application is being reviewed. Once approved, the DRC eVisa will be sent by email.
