- Validity: 90 days
Entry must take place within the validity period, and departure must be before the stay limit ends.
What is the procedure for requesting a DRC eVisa?
Step 1
Enter personal, passport, and travel details accurately. Upload all required documents and review the information carefully.
Step 2
Pay the DRC eVisa Fee using a valid debit or credit card. Submit the eVisa form for processing once payment is confirmed.
Step 3
Wait for a few days as your eVisa application is reviewed, and once approved, the DRC eVisa is sent by email.
Note: When completing the form, applicants may use the "Add Applicant" option to include multiple travellers in one submission. All applications are processed together, and updates are sent to the primary applicant, but each traveller will receive a separate eVisa.

- Incomplete Applications: Resume any unfinished application through the Complete Ongoing DRC eVisa Application feature on the DRC eVisa portal.
- Status Updates: All information regarding your application progress will be sent to your registered email. Alternatively, check the DRC eVisa Status webpage for current processing updates.
- Extending Your Stay: Contact EMG/DGM (Immigration) directly for visa extensions. Extension costs depend on your visa category and desired length of additional stay.
- Visa d’Entrée (VAP): When you arrive in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, immigration authorities place a Visa d’Entrée (VAP) in your passport. This border entry fee confirms your authorised stay of up to 7 days.
- Travel Purpose Declaration: Applicants must clearly state the reason for their visit when completing the DRC eVisa application form.
