What documents are necessary for the DRC eVisa?
Qatar Citizens are required to have the following documents for their application:
- Passport-bio page (6 months validity).
- Passport-size photograph with a light background.
- Application letter: A letter addressed to the Democratic Republic of the Congo
confirming your travel purpose, visit details, and planned itinerary.
- If the visit is for business or a conference, the letter must be on the host company’s letterhead.

What are the necessary steps for completing the DRC eVisa application?
Qatar citizens must apply for the eVisa atleast a week before travel:
Step 1
Enter your passport and travel information in the eVisa application form, choose the processing option (normal, rush, or super rush), check the details, and upload the required documents.
Step 2
Pay the processing fee using a valid credit or debit card or PayPal, then submit the application for processing.
Step 3
Wait for processing to be completed. Once approved, the DRC eVisa will be sent to your email.
Important Reminders for Applicants
- Qatar applicants must state their travel purpose in the application form.
- When you arrive in DRC, immigration will stamp a Visa d’Entrée (VAP) in your passport. The VAP is a border entry fee that confirms permission to stay for 7 days in Congo.
- Updates about your application will be sent to the email address you provide, so ensure it is accurate.
- You must apply for an extension through DGM (Immigration).

- When using the Add Applicant option, multiple travellers can be included in a single application. All applications are processed together, updates are sent to the primary applicant, and each traveller receives a separate approved eVisa.
