  • The inviting company in the DRC must issue the request letter for the applicant.
  • The letter must be signed by the company’s representative and must contain the company's official stamp.
  • Must be written in French language, officially signed and stamped.
  • Must clearly state the applicant’s details and purpose of visit.

  • Must be issued by a recognised inviting company or organisation in the DRC.
  • Details such as invitee name, passport number and travel dates must be visible.

    1. DRC National ID Card / DRC Passport Bio Page
    2. DRC Sticker Visa and Passport Bio Page Scan

  • If the responsible person is a DRC citizen, submit either a National ID Card or their passport bio page scan.
  • If the responsible person is a resident of DRC, submit both: DRC Sticker Visa and Passport bio page scan.

What Are the Restrictions on a DRC Conference / Event Visa? 

On a DRC Conference / Event visa you’re not allowed to:

  • Engage in any sort of paid activities or take up local employment within the DRC.
  • Use the visa for medical , transit, official, study or cultural visits.
  • Take up permanent residency in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
  • Stay in the DRC longer than the permitted period set by the immigration authorities.
  • Travel in the restricted areas of the DRC, including certain mining zones and government facilities.
